Five Poeple, One Vision:
Bringing Hope Where It Is Needed Most.

At the beginning, it was just Marion Duschletta, Robert Prange and Malaki Thompson. Over time, more people joined us—people who share our vision and our passion for Tanzania. Together, we have become a small team with a big heart.
What began as a once-in-a-lifetime experience soon led to several return visits. First impressions grew into a deep connection, and from that connection came the desire to give back and become part of a lasting, positive change. Starting with a few small projects, Marion and Robert gradually made the shared decision to build something sustainable—something that would create opportunities and improve lives for generations to come.
Along this journey, we met Malaki—a person who earned our trust from the very beginning. His reliability, integrity, and deep commitment to his community have made him far more than a project partner; he has become a true friend and an invaluable part of our mission.
Malaki's father founded the Hopeful English School in 2005. Today, Malaki continues his father's vision with dedication, passion, and a clear sense of purpose. He also established the Hearts of Hope Foundation Tanzania to promote sustainable education and community development projects in his homeland.
Together with our foundation in Switzerland, we form a strong and trusted partnership. We work side by side with mutual respect, transparency, and a shared vision: to bring hope, education, and lasting opportunities to children, families, and the wider community.

Sometimes you meet people and immediately know they are truly special. That's exactly how we felt when we met Robert, his wife Pamela, and their daughter Elina.
We first got to know them during one of our Mama Laki Lunches, while our school was still being renovated. Surrounded by construction work, big dreams, and exciting plans for the future, a warm connection quickly developed—one that has since grown into a wonderful friendship.
Together with Pamela, Robert generously funded Gabriel's teaching salary for an entire year. He also supports our 45+ Volunteering Programme, helps with our newsletters, contributes valuable ideas, and regularly donates items for our Ricardo fundraising campaigns, which help us raise essential funds for our projects.
What we admire most about Robert is his humility. He doesn't help to be recognised—he helps because he genuinely cares about people. Through his generosity, commitment, and positive spirit, he has become a valued member of our Hopeful family.
We are incredibly grateful to have Robert by our side. ❤️

We are truly grateful to have Janine as part of our Hopeful family and for the dedication she brings to our mission.
As a volunteer, she invests countless hours managing our sales on Ricardo, Tutti, and other online platforms. Thanks to her commitment, donated items find new homes while generating valuable funds for our projects and the children we support in Tanzania.
Janine first discovered Tanzania during a safari and quickly fell in love with the country. With her kindness, reliability, and positive spirit, she supports our mission in a truly special way.
We are incredibly thankful that Janine is part of our Hopeful family. People like her remind us that every act of kindness matters and that extraordinary things can happen when we open our hearts to others.❤️
