Hopeful English School
Education Creates Futures – We're Giving a School Its Future Back.
Today, on Monday, 15 June, we welcomed our youngest students, aged 4 to 6, for their very first day at school.
For some of the children, the start was a little overwhelming, but by the end of the day, smiles had replaced uncertainty. Now the focus is on establishing daily routines and building a strong foundation for the school's future.

Before our youngest students, aged 4 to 6, began their first day of school on Monday, 15 June, we held an information meeting with their parents to explain how the school would operate and what they could expect.
The excitement isn't limited to the children. For many parents—especially mothers—the school provides invaluable support. Knowing that their children are not only learning but are also safe and well cared for each morning allows them to focus on their daily responsibilities without having to watch over their children all the time.

With the arrival of the classroom furniture, everything is in place for the school to open in mid-June. Registration of our first students is now underway, and the children have already enjoyed their first trial lessons.
Everyone is excited and looking forward to the first day of school!

The finishing touches have been completed: minor repairs have been made, and the entire school has been thoroughly cleaned and prepared.
For our youngest learners, we have created a cosy reading and play corner with rugs and cushions where they can begin learning English through play. The only thing still missing for the older students is the remaining classroom furniture. Once it arrives, everything will be ready for lessons to begin.

The painting has now been completed throughout the school. The toilets and washrooms have been tiled, and all sanitary facilities have been installed.
With the interior work now finished, the final tasks outside the building can be completed. Once the furniture has arrived, everything will be ready for the official opening of the school.

The painting work is almost finished, and the lights have now been installed. Outside, everything is prepared for the gravel to be laid.
The next step is tiling the toilets and washrooms, followed by the final coat of paint in those areas.

Most of the major work has now been completed. The buildings have been restored, and both the electrical system and the water supply have been repaired.
Now it's time for the finishing touches. All buildings are being repainted inside and out before the sanitary facilities are installed.

Some things may be done a little differently from what they are used to, but it is precisely this combination of local traditions and European standards that makes this project so special.

Classrooms are being restored, walls repaired, and learning spaces prepared, all with one goal: to give every student better opportunities for the future.

Many of our students come from families where access to education cannot be taken for granted. That is why it is so important to provide them with a place where they can learn, grow, and pursue their dreams.
The photos show some impressions of the ongoing renovation work. Every step forward is only possible because of people who believe in this project and choose to support it.
We are deeply grateful to every donor whose generosity is helping this school grow. Your support means far more than new walls or renovated classrooms—it means hope, education, and new opportunities for the next generation.
Thank you for being part of this journey.

Our goal: Reopening the school in 2026.
